PHP code intelligence

Ropenode indexes PHP projects itself, so the editor can resolve symbols without a language server.

• PSR-4 and classmap resolution from your composer.json.
• Namespace completion as you type a class name.
• Unused import detection.
• Import validation that tells you which problem you have: a duplicate use of the same name from two namespaces is a fatal error, while importing the same thing twice is merely redundant. Those look similar and matter very differently.

The first PHP file

The index builds in the background the first time you open a PHP file in a project, and is cached afterwards. On a large project, completions appear after a few seconds.

Scope

PHP only. Other languages get syntax highlighting and search, not symbol resolution.
